My heart overflows with gratitude...

My heart overflows with gratitude for the many blessings which have been mine through the study of Christian Science. Over twenty years ago I was very unhappy, and there was so much discord in my home that I felt I could not possibly go on living under such conditions. In utter despair I knelt down and prayed earnestly, asking God to show me some way out of my misery. I did not humanly outline; I simply prayed to be led.

In the Bible (Isa. 65:24) we read, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." I know the truth of this statement, for when I arose I went into one of the rooms which I had rented to a woman about two weeks before, and there I saw a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. The woman talked with me concerning this Science, and within a very short time I began to attend Christian Science lectures and church services. I accepted this beautiful truth at once.

Through the help of loving practitioners and my earnest study of Science and Health and by my being obedient to divine guidance, I was able to keep a lovely home, raise my three children, and see them all doing well. Health, peace, joy, plenty, and a wonderful companionship have been the fruits of my study and application of Christian Science.
