Great Teacher, give to us thy flawless vision
To see the perfect man wherever
Human thought is longing to be shown
The truth; to lift sincere endeavor
For purity and freedom to a fresh,
Unclouded point of view.

Way-shower, you who left the Pharisees
For publican and sinner,
How your pointed parables and precepts
Show the way for each beginner,
Climbing upward toward the healing heights,
His daily good to do!
