LOVE'S CARE
IT
cannot be that life has ceased for him.
How could life cease, since God alone is Life
And man is one, forever one, with Him?
God knows no separation, grief, or fear.
His care, within which rests the universe,
Forever holds each one secure and safe.
We can rejoice and know that Love divine
Reaches far beyond our human sight,
Enfolds, forever safe, each child beloved.
And, knowing this, can we not place within
Our Father's tender care this very hour
Him who now takes another upward path
Along the radiant and the sunlit way?
