Signs of the Times
Earl L. Douglass in the Wilmington Star-News, North Carolina
Why has healing largely ceased in the modern church?
For decades after the ascension, the disciples continued to heal all manner of diseases. Why has this not continued? All sorts of reasons have been advanced, but when we examine them, they are reasons in appearance and not in substance. So far as one can see, there is no reason why faith-filled men and women today should not heal the sick exactly the same as many of the disciples in the early church did.
