Our
beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, lays great stress on the value of right motives.
Until
Mary Baker Eddy discovered and founded Christian Science, the healings accomplished by Jesus were considered to be miracles.
As
one studies the Bible together with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, he gains a fuller understanding that just as surely as God has created man and the universe, just so surely has He provided for their every need.
Under
the marginal heading, "The kingdom within," Mary Baker Eddy writes on <a class="tome-reference"

When
questioned by Pilate as to his status, Christ Jesus did not deny that he was a king, but declared that his kingdom was "not of this world.
A Student
of Christian Science, noticing how the sun shining through the window had caused the beautiful design of the curtain to be outlined on the wall, thought of the life and work of Christ Jesus and of how his life reflected the loveliness of divine Love.
Human
life so called is not a vale of tears to one who knows better than to accept it as such.
To
human sense, justice may seem scant and mercy wanting, but Christian Science reveals divine justice as transcending human inequities and meting out full and merciful recompense to all.

How often I have wished it were possible to express in words my gratitude for the countless blessings that have come into my life through the application of Christian Science as taught by Mary Baker Eddy.
I am most grateful for Christian Science.
Many years ago, when I was suffering from severe stomach and bowel disorders and was greatly worried about my physical condition, Christian Science was lovingly offered to me by a friend.
In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we find the statement.
It is my desire to share with others my gratitude for the comfort and protection Christian Science has given me in recent Years.
When I was studying the Lesson-Sermon on the subject "Life in the Christian Science Quarterly, one statement stood out clearly, though I had often read and heard it before.
It is with great joy that I send this testimony in appreciation of the many blessings that have come to me and mine through the study and application of Christian Science.
During the recent war we were in the Netherlands East Indies.
For all the healings that I have had through the application of Christian Science, I am certainly thankful.
