For all the healings that I have had through the application of Christian Science, I am certainly thankful. A growth of many years' standing disappeared from my hand within a few hours when I realized that nothing could be added to or taken away from the real man and that God's man manifests only spiritual growth. A crooked tooth was straightened instantaneously when it suddenly occurred to me that it was not matter that had to be straightened out, but my thinking which had to be kept in alignment with divine Mind.

I have been healed of symptoms of cold through study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, particularly the chapters on "Prayer" and "Christian Science Practice." At one time the argument of sore throat was nullified when, through study, resentment was uncovered and corrected.

I am grateful that I had the opportunity to attend a Christian Science Sunday School, but that training came to mean more to me when I went away to college. The first day I was on the campus I was notified that I would have to take a physical examination. Before the appointment I did some studying in order to know the true nature of man. At the end of the examination I had to submit to vaccination. When I returned to the dormitory I studied again in order to see that the experience could neither help nor harm me. When other students were either joking or complaining about stiff joints, I was grateful that I was experiencing no trouble.
