That God is a present help under all circumstances, I have learned through Christian Science. I should like to testify to the healing power of the truth that God is our Life. The fact that I am still alive I owe to Christian Science.

About twenty years ago, when I was suffering from a complete nervous breakdown and felt that I was at the end of my strength, this Science came to me through a neighbor. I am still inexpressibly grateful for the healing I received.

On page 234 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, we read: "Sin and disease must be thought before they can be manifested. You must control evil thoughts in the first instance, or they will control you in the second." This I found to be true at the time of a healing I experienced in the summer of 1946.
