In deep appreciation of all the blessings I have received since coming into Christian Science, I offer this testimony.

My first healing was of constipation, from which I had been a great sufferer, and gall bladder attacks, which had been so severe that I was told many times by different doctors that only surgery could help me. But I had had two major operations several years before, and I felt I could not face another. As a result of a very restricted diet imposed because of this trouble, I developed a severe anemic condition for which I had liver injections at regular intervals. Fatigue and violent headaches accompanied by great nausea were also healed. Thrombosis, which had kept me in bed for almost three months, has never returned. Dizziness, fainting spells, and a very persistent pain around the heart have all been completely overcome.

For years I wore a surgical combination spinal and sacroiliac corset, which was most uncomfortable, but without which I seemed unable to sit up straight. After I had done much studying and had much help, the corset having been discarded, a backache was still persistent, but the other errors were overcome one by one. One day I realized that I had been keeping my surgical corset in a drawer just in case I should need it again. There was the error. I immediately took it out and threw it in the ash barrel. I realized that God is the only support that I need, and I was healed. Not only am I grateful for these physical healings, but for the overcoming of many faults of character, such as sensitiveness and resentment.
