LOVE LEADS THE WAY

[Of Special Interest to Children]

In a little town on a pleasant street in a wee white house there lived a happy family. There was a daddy, a mamma, a little boy named David, and his little sister Ann.

Every day Daddy went to his office and every day Mamma, David, and Ann stayed at home. Mamma kept the house neat and clean, and David and Ann played together and with the other children who lived on the pleasant little street. That is what happened every day in the week but one.

That day was Sunday. Then Daddy, Mamma, David, and Ann would take their Bibles and their copies of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and away they would all go to the Christian Science Sunday School. Daddy and Mamma were teachers of some of the older boys and girls, David was in a class of smaller boys, and Ann was in the very youngest class. They all loved to go to Sunday School because it was such a happy thing to do. They liked to hear the Bible stories about Jesus and Moses and Daniel. They liked to learn the truth as it is told in Science and Health, and they liked to sing the hymns. The one they loved best was "Feed My Sheep," the words of which Mrs. Eddy wrote (Poems, p. 14).
