On reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...

On reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I found the religion I had always been seeking. The truths in this book, particularly that God is our Father and Mother, healed me of grief when my parents passed on within two years of each other.

I should like to mention here my gratitude for the help of a practitioner and of my sister when I was passing through a period of depression. These words from the Bible constantly came to my thought and helped to bring about my healing (Ps. 24:9): "Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."

I am grateful for the protection I had in a motor accident. While the car was backing downhill at a great speed, I realized that God is my Life. The car crashed into a tree, but I was neither hurt nor shaken.
