Because Christian Science has brought me so much good, I want to submit this testimony as an expression of the deep gratitude I feel for the joy that is mine in its study.

I have had many healings through Science, but the one for which I am most grateful is the following. My husband and I were going away to clear up some business of my late father's, and intended to use some of the time for a short holiday. We had been away for two days and were out walking with a friend, when I suddenly began to lose consciousness. I declared the truth as we are taught in Christian Science, and we managed to get back to our apartment with the help of a passing motorist. On two other occasions the same thing had occurred, and so to relieve my husband of anxiety I thought it best to stay in our rooms and study. Meantime I got in touch with a practitioner who had helped me on many occasions.

We worked along steadily together, but the difficulty was not immediately healed. It appeared that I was losing the use of my legs. Then the time came to return home, and we had four changes to make in our railway journey, two of them necessitating crossing bridges and going down long flights of stairs. I told the practitioner this, treatment was continued, and I made the journey home without untoward incident. even walking up from the station to my home, which is quite a distance. After a few weeks more of work in Science, one day I felt that I was healed, and I received a letter from the practitioner saying that she also felt the work was complete. There has been no return of the trouble.
