There is no greater privilege...

There is no greater privilege than knowing God well enough to be grateful to Him for His wonderful works. Through the study of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings I have become conscious of God's healing presence, which has brought harmony and a great sense of well-being into my life. Words can never express my thankfulness and appreciation to Mrs. Eddy for her explanation of Christian Science and for founding the Science movement.

At one time I was stricken with pain in my hips, and on trying to move my limbs, found I could not do so. The pain became so severe that I began to lose consciousness. Then an angel message came to me as though a voice spoke: "Be still. You can listen." So I did, and the following line of reasoning came: "Joy is spiritual. I am happy and joyful because I reflect joy and happiness. There is nothing that can affect my joy, since God is its source."

These thoughts came to me for a while before joy flooded my consciousness, literally pushing out the pain, which was still severe when I tried to move. I was soon moving about the house completely free.—(Mrs.) J. Marriott McMaster, Phoenix, Arizona.
