I have been greatly blessed by Christian Science and I feel it is a privilege for me to send in this testimony.

In 1943, while I was employed by a railroad company, a three thousand eight hundred pound water crane fell, striking me on the head. I was taken to the company hospital, and the doctors told my family that they could not even X-ray, fearing that I might pass on. After a week my family demanded an X ray, and that was when they were told the extent of my injuries. I had a severe skull fracture, an injured spine, a broken hip, and a broken pelvis, as well as internal injuries. The doctors also stated that they could not set the bones because of my weakness.

I had help from a Christian Science practitioner, however, from the time the accident occurred. Not a bone was set, and I was never put in a cast. I remained in the hospital for several months, during which time I was given only routine care, which consisted of baths, meals, and the taking of my temperature. I am now completely recovered and have no scars.
