Much prayerful work by Christian Scientists is needed in the postwar period so that God's law may be seen to operate as a law of adjustment and reconstruction, and peace may reign in the hearts of men and nations. Peace will be universal and permanent when the fatherhood and motherhood of God and the brotherhood of man are recognized and demonstrated. Christ in Christian Science is showing the way to this goal.

Our happy relationship with the press continues. No criticisms of Christian Science have been published in the county newspapers during the year. It is gratifying that space has been given for reports of many Christian Science activities—lectures, Thanksgiving services, the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church, and Christian Science Wartime activities.
