It is with a deep sense of gratitude for the many healings and blessings that have come to me and to my family through the study and application of Christian Science that I offer this testimony.

At one time I was suffering greatly from an irritating and infectious skin disease. Unable to sleep at night, I would arise and declare audibly statements of truth from the Bible and from our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. There were many days when it seemed impossible for me to use my hands.

In seeking help from a practitioner, who worked earnestly and faithfully for me during this trial, I was given to study and apply the experience of Jacob, wrestling with error until the breaking of the day. Like Jacob, I wrestled with error far into the night. And as the day dawned, "the irradiance of Life; light, the spiritual idea of Truth and Love," as Mrs. Eddy defines "day" in part in Science and Health (p. 584), I too received the blessing, and was completely healed. There was not a trace or sign of any disease.
