Excerpts from Letter Concerning Christian Science Wartime Activities
[From a Christian Scientist in Bergen, Norway]
Surely you have received information that the boxes reached us safely, but may I tell you something about experiences concerning them?
They arrived from Stavangerfiord, as you planned. The head of our group, a Scientist for about thirty years in Bergen, and a practical woman, whose husband has been a Scientist for many years, together with a naval officer who recently joined us, went to the storehouse at the landing place. I happened to be there on account of the distribution work. When we opened the boxes and observed the articles, we realized that God only can repay your patient and loving labor on our behalf.
