About twenty-eight years ago I...
About twenty-eight years ago I had two very quick healings through the help of a Christian Science practitioner.
The first healing was of an illness which followed a severe cough that had hung on for some weeks, and was becoming worse as the days passed. One Saturday I became suddenly ill with chills and fever. A member of the family advised calling a physician. My request for help from a Christian Science practitioner was granted, however. Absent treatment was given, which proved so effective that I arose the next morning completely healed of the chills and fever, though the troublesome cough remained.
On the following Monday I made a trip across the city to the practitioner's office to express gratitude for the healing, and to ask for further help for the cough. I was told not to be afraid, for this also would disappear, and by the end of the week it was gone.
