Since I have received so much encouragement and inspiration from testimonies appearing in our periodicals, I feel the time has come when I can no longer withhold my testimony.

I accepted Christian Science solely for physical help for my baby, when medical remedies had failed even to relieve his suffering, caused by serious trouble with one of his eyes. The physician who was treating him said she could do nothing more. Then, very fearfully and reluctantly, I agreed to have Science treatment for him. After three treatments by a practitioner the difficulty was completely healed.

While I did not fully grasp the spirit of Christian Science at that time, still I knew it was that for which I had been searching, and I wanted to learn more about it. At once I began the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. In the thirty years since then, God has been my only physician. I have had many healings through the application of the truth. Some of the healings that come to my thought are those of hay fever, Spanish influenza and a severe cough that followed it, a painful attack of bladder trouble, and pleurisy.
