Be Still

"Be still, and know," the Lord has said,
"That I am God." The devils fled
At Truth's command into the sea,
The sick found answer to their plea,
And all the waves were quieted.

That power of old that raised the dead
Is with us now, and, comforted,
We hear God's loving voice,
"Be still, and know."

Know the same God who saved and led
Those ancient ones will give us bread,
Keep us wherever we may be,
Our refuge through eternity.
Why ever doubt? Let us, instead,
Be still and know.
