True Education Lies in Spiritual Understanding

Those who attain to a demonstrable understanding of God and His divine laws as taught in Christian Science find it increasingly apparent that unless erudition is based on spiritual law, it is of no real value, either to the individual or to the world.

Present-day conditions point to the conclusion that because of a dearth of spiritual understanding humanity passes through bitter experiences. The deplorable conditions in the world today could never have come about but for the false concepts of God and man. Christian Science is causing a great awakening to this fact. It is showing countless seekers for Truth that the only remedy for all wrong conditions is to be found in spiritual understanding and demonstration of God's power.

Educational systems in general have not given sufficient heed to spiritual values; rather have they tended to materialize the student's thought. Jesus, Paul, and other great Biblical characters proclaimed the worthlessness of material thinking and all that stems from it. They taught and demonstrated the grandeur, practicality, and life-bestowing power of spiritual understanding.
