"Let us not be weary in well doing"

Pioneer Williamsport, Indiana

God has endowed man with the inalienable right to succeed, and only wrong intentions and false ambitions can prevent such an accomplishment. Efforts put forth to reach a desired goal are not wasted, even though the desired end may be in the distance. One can always look ahead, but time and opportunity glide by if our head is turned for a backward view.

Material victories sometimes encumber true ambitions, but he who forsakes material gains for a victory over self is by far the richer man. Constant vigilance is the price of self-control—victory over the emotions, greed, hatred, fear, and he who strives for such a victory inevitably gains in proportion to his steadfastness of purpose and the pureness of his life.
