Church Dedications
Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.
Chronicle
Spokane, Washington (Second Church).
Dedication services of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Spokane, which were held on Sunday, September 24, 1944, filled the church to overflowing with friends and members of the city's two Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Society, Spokane.
A brief history was read of the church from the time of its organization in 1910, when services were held in North Central High School auditorium and Pilgrim Congregational Church. A temporary building was constructed in 1911 and the present edifice in 1922. Gifts from many sources made possible the clearing of the debt.—Chronicle.
