Before turning unreservedly to Christian Science, I was like the woman in the Bible who "suffered many things of many physicians" (Mark 5:26). Because of an injury resulting from an accident, I suffered many years from a large tumor, with complications. Two surgeons recommended a major operation. For many years I received radium, mineral, osteopathic, and chiropractic treatments from various doctors, but I was "nothing bettered."

For several years after I took up the study of Christian Science seriously, the condition seemed to be more or less dormant, and then it became greatly aggravated. My husband and I realized that definite Science work must be taken up. After two months of treatment from a practitioner I was healed.

I am deeply grateful to God, to his beloved Son, Christ Jesus, and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for Christian Science and its healing power. I am also grateful to all the loving practitioners who have helped along the way.
