To testify to healing in Christian Science,...

To testify to healing in Christian Science, is not only publicly to declare gratitude for the blessings one has received, but it is also to obey, at least in a degree, Jesus' command (Mark 16:15) to go "into all the world, and preach the gospel." With many other students of Christian Science, I join in expressing gratitude to God for all the blessings I have received from its healing efficacy.

About two years ago, I fell in the snow. A passer-by helped me to get up and took me home. I was in a state of collapse, and a friend called for the help of a Christian Science practitioner. I felt that some bones were broken in one of my arms, and it was thought advisable to have an X ray. This revealed a very bad fracture in the arm, but the doctor thought that owing to my age it was better not to try to set it. I returned home without anything having been done.

The constant and faithful work of the Christian Science practitioner was so uplifting that the claim of bones not knitting in old age was entirely overcome, and in a short time the arm was completely healed.
