The Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was given to me at a time of great need, and my study of it met that need.

For three years my baby was under medical treatment. He had been attended by five doctors and a chiropractor, and was on a special diet. I was advised to take him to a child specialist, who diagnosed the disease as coeliac. Treatment at a nursing home was commenced, but it was to no avail.

After reading Science and Health for a month, I visited a Christian Science practitioner and sought treatment for the baby and myself. Within a week after treatments were begun, the baby was able to eat and digest all kinds of food. Medicine was put aside, and full confidence was placed in the all-power of good. Within three months practically every symptom of the disease had vanished, and, as my own fears faded, the baby experienced a complete healing.
