Immortality
There
is no death, for Life is infinite—
expressed in all the universe and man.
The dream that limits life to matter and
to death is but a darkened sense that knows
not God!
But Christian Science, in this age,
is wakening human thought from that dark dream.
It is the morning star of Truth that leads
from out the night of matter, sin, and death
into the light of Life's eternal day!
Then rise, O troubled one, look up and greet
the dawn of this great revelation, now!
Put on your holy garments and step forth
into the day of immortality.
In its eternal light shall you behold
no night; in its infinitude no death.
Then shall you know that man has never died;
but in unbroken unity with all
God's other living, loving children does
he live and love—and that this Life is yours—
forever deathless, boundless, joyous, free—
God's own reflected immortality.
