I should like to express my...
I should like to express my gratitude for all that I am learning in Christian Science.
During my girlhood and until after I married I was an active worker in a nonconformist church. Such activities as organist, Sunday school teacher, and organizer for concerts filled a great part of a very happy life. I gratefully acknowledged the blessing of having had godly parents, who taught me to love God. I developed a strong faith in His ever-present, omnipotent protection, but I believed God knew good and evil. Hence, as the years passed, my faith did not keep me well.
"Man's extremity is God's opportunity." There came a time when doctors told me after a laboratory lest, that a growth on the back of my tongue was so malignant and deep-seated there was absolutely no cure.
