I have received so many blessings from Christian Science in more than thirty years' study that I feel I should no longer neglect to express my gratitude. I began the study of Christian Science after a friend told me she had been healed by it of sick headaches. I had suffered from these since quite a small child, and with the passing of time they occurred more often and were more severe. The drug which I was taking in large quantities seemed only to aggravate the condition.

The friend brought me a copy of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which I began at once to read. I became so interested that I read every spare minute I had, and soon became convinced that Christian Science not only is a very beautiful religion, but is the same one that Jesus taught.

The healing was a slow one, but the lessons I learned through the experience have been invaluable. I had not been studying very long before I realized clearly that the law of God operating in human consciousness is all that really heals. Many times I was tempted to be discouraged but never to report again to drugs.
