Rock, rescue, refuge!
What though kingdoms fall and man's high destiny
Be mocked of men—
The rock of my salvation is the Lord,
And age-abiding is His holy Word.
Always this rock of Truth impregnable shall stand.
A bastion stanch against unholy hosts that band
But to disperse and flee.

Rock, rescue, refuge,
God is All to me!
Founded in blest, irrefragable unity with Him,
My strength, my glory, and my joy are proved;
Rock, rescue, refuge—
I shall not be moved!
