Previous to the time when we...
Previous to the time when we turned to Christian Science for the truth, I recall the many remedies tried, one by one, over a period of many years, to heal the eczema. My mother's instantaneous healing of this ailment with the acceptance of Christian Science was indeed a joy, and a revelation to the whole family of the power and healing efficacy of this Science.
Christian Science has been the great physician in our family for twenty-eight years, during which time healings of grief, influenza, pneumonia, spinal meningitis, partial facial paralysis, and other healings too numerous to outline here, have been accomplished through Christian Science treatment. While one is deeply grateful for physical healing, however, his gratitude for the comfort and joy which are his through this religion of Love, transcends his gratitude for recovery from the ills of the flesh. Truth is indeed the Comforter.—(Mrs.) Marion Chapman Cockshutt
