The First Commandment

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Peter was a happy little boy who attended the Christian Science Sunday School. There he learned many wonderful things about God: that He is good, that He is Spirit, Mind, divine Love, and that He is ever present. Peter learned, too, that all men are God's children, and that He loves them all equally.

The boys in Peter's class had worked very hard to learn the Ten Commandments correctly and in order, just as they are written in the Bible.

"Now that we have learned the words of the Commandments," the teacher said, "we must make sure we understand them, so that we can obey them."'
