After many years of unwritten benefits and gratitude for blessings received through Christian Science I feel it is indeed time to share some of these experiences that others may be blessed as I have.

My first healing was of an acute attack of appendicitis after two convulsions. My mother had just experienced a remarkable healing of stomach trouble, and so was assured that if only she could get me to a neighbor's home where a small group was reading the Christian Science Lesson-Sermon I could be healed. So she put pillows on a small express wagon in the endeavor to make the rough ride more bearable, for I had not slept or taken nourishment for three days and nights and had suffered almost continually for many days before that. On the trip over, which was a mile and a half, she had to stop to let me rest a number of times. But when the homeward journey was begun I exclaimed: "You can run now. It doesn't hurt a bit." And my mother did joyously run most of the way home, for the healing had been instantaneous during the meeting of that little group of earnest seekers for Truth.

This healing took place many years ago and the healing Truth has been the source of great joy both in my childhood home and in the home that has been established since my marriage, which step was taken only after seeking divine guidance through prayer and meditation.
