I should like to express my...

I should like to express my gratitude to God for many healings I have experienced in Christian Science.

Recently I received a very wonderful healing. An acute sore throat, along with other severe symptoms, developed just before the end of the week. As a member of the Women's Army Corps, I am enrolled in an Army school learning to be a radio mechanic. I felt quite ill on Friday and Saturday while attending classes, but wanted to avoid going on sick call if I possibly could. On Saturday after school I came back to my room and went to bed. Error tried to tell me I was not going to be able to get up for a while. On Sunday morning, feeling still worse, I decided to call a practitioner and ask for help. He suggested that I try to go to church that morning, and gave me some helpful passages to read in Science and Health. I got up, dressed, and went to church. I suddenly felt relief from the sore throat, and after the service talked to the person I had asked for help, and told him I was healed. He would not take pay for his loving help, but suggested I pass this experience on to someone else, which I am very happy to do.

I have never known anything but Christian Science and have had the privilege of going to the Christian Science Sunday School and church as long as I can remember. I am indeed grateful for the many blessings Christian Science has brought to me and to my family.—(Cpl.) Ruth Knox, Fort Knox, Kentucky.
