Many are the blessings that have come to our family through Christian Science. It has opened our eyes to behold Life for what it really is, harmonious and eternal: it has opened them also to the fact that anything opposed to Life, God, is only a lie of false material sense trying to deceive us under many guises.

The first and most beautiful healing that we witnessed was of a broken back. My husband fell from a roof and was taken to a hospital. The doctors and nurses who attended him gave little hope of his recovery. He had a slight knowledge of Christian Science, and applied what he knew while in the hospital. At this time I knew nothing of Christian Science. We had had the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, in the house for a number of years, but neither of us had ever read it. On the eleventh day he was brought home. After a few days we asked for Christian Science literature and we read it. We also asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner. At this time I began reading the textbook.

One month from the day of the accident he was up and taking long walks. Further progress was made when, a day or so later, he drove the car. This healing took place over four years ago and there have been no ill effects from the accident at any time.
