Gratitude for a Lesson Learned
"Thy
will be done."
These blessed words I learned to say with gratitude,
And find within my heart the peace
That comes with understanding good.
"Thy will be done."
Sweet, childlike trust knows nought of fear, nor anxious hour,
But proves in quiet confidence
That God is Love, and Love is power.
"Thy will be done."
This angel thought destroys the human will to plan,
And on its healing wings I rise
To know the real, God's perfect man.
