With a grateful, humble heart I testify to the healing power of Christian Science.

In May, 1937, I was informed over the telephone that my hasband was being taken to the hospital for an undiagnosed ailment. The town was seventy miles distant, and there were no train connections. Some relatives took me there that afternoon, and I found my husband in a very serious condition. I took the little copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, which my husband carried in his grip, and started to read it. Realizing experienced help was needed, I sent a message to a practitioner in a distant city about six o'clock that same evening, and help was readily given.

The doctor said it would be impossible to take my husband home that night, and since someone was needed to sit by him to keep him in bed, I was allowed to stay. At nine o'clock my husband asked to sit up. With help he sat up for a minute and then lay down. He was quiet the rest of the night, and the nurse said: "What a wonderful change! He is so much better." The next day my brother and I took my husband home in an ambulance without any trouble. In a few days he could walk several steps, and in three months he made a short trip in his car. A few months later he covered his territory without fear. No other physician was consulted. No medicine was given, and I was alone with him most of the time. Mortal mind laid down many gloomy laws; but the angel message from our Hymnal (No. 327),
