Joy

TWILA M. CLARK

Joy dwells within each consciousness.
Beyond the reach of hate it glows
In shining strength, redeeming all,
As man his true dominion knows.

Joy is the light emitting good,
The motivating force that bathes
With radiant love the hungry hearts
It comforts, heals, and saves.

Joy is a quality of God,
Man's heritage, his present goal.
Joy overflows the heart which sings,
"Because God is, I too am whole!"
