To have one's thinking completely...
To have one's thinking completely revolutionized and an abiding peace and happiness established in the heart has been my joyful experience since Christian Science reached me some seven years ago, when I was in the bitterest depths of woe.
Periodic nervous breakdowns, due to an exophthalmic goiter, with resulting heart trouble, had culminated in a complete collapse, in spite of a so-called critical operation some years before. After I had spent over a year in bed, and had become quite emaciated, help in Christian Science was sought by a sister, who had been deeply impressed when a trained nurse told her of her own remarkable healing in Christian Science.
I was taken into the home of a consecrated Christian Scientist. The physical healing began almost immediately, and manifested itself first in a gain in weight. Lifelong constipation was quickly and permanently healed with the truth contained in the statement on page 283 of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action."
