Church Dedication
Of great importance is the dedication of a Christian Science church. Its influence for good extends far beyond the community in which the church is located. The awakening of the members which has brought about this achievement encourages other branch churches to greater progress.
The dedication of a church edifice is in itself the evidence of a deep devotion to God's service, an outward sign that the members have, in goodly measure, risen above doubt, fear, and limitation through holding to the true concept of Church, which regenerates and heals.
Turning to this true concept helped the members of one branch church when confronted with the loss of the edifice through foreclosure of a mortgage. An immediate payment of the entire amount was demanded. Only a small portion of this sum was available, and there seemed to be little likelihood of raising the amount needed.
