Thirst
"Ho
, every one that thirsteth,
Come ye to the waters,
And he that hath no money;
Come ye, buy, and eat."
The vigor and the promise of it!
The invitation stands
After long centuries.
The ever-present Truth gives
Of the living waters—eternally.
Though human drink may quench
The thirst but for a moment,
Yet God is Love, and loves eternally.
Man's thirst is quenched;
Who drinks of Spirit's cup
Is satisfied!
