Fearless Flying

[Of Special Interest to Youth]

A Young aviation cadet in the service of his country found that his time was so much occupied with flight training that there was little opportunity for the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon or for meditation and prayer. He had as a young boy attended the Christian Science Sunday School, where he was taught to look to God the one Mind, as the source of all intelligence, and to know his true sell as the perfect expression of this Mind.

Often the young man asked himself, "Are my thoughts God's thoughts?" Many victories had been won through the application of this Science, and he rejoiced over his unfolding spiritual understanding.

When he found himself a stranger in a large camp, far from home, difficult situations confronted him and a sense of homesickness and fear darkened his thought. Knowing that he could find a sense of home in a Christian Science church, he attended a Sunday service in one near by where he received comfort and help. The angel thoughts which came to him during and after the service gave him the means for clearing away the difficulties and doubts which disturbed him.
