I give this testimony with the sincere hope that anyone who is suffering from the same malady that once afflicted me will receive new courage and health from the assurance that it can be healed.

When I came to Christian Science, I was looking for the healing of heart disease. At that time I was a director of a hospital and had the best medical care, but the doctors gave me little hope that I would get better; in fact, I grew worse from day to day. I had reached a stage where the doctors recommended a tank of oxygen, which I had to inhale under cover to facilitate my breathing.
