It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I wish to bear testimony to the healing power of Christian Science. It has been my privilege to attend the Christian Science Sunday School, and I am grateful for class instruction and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.

About eleven years ago I was taken with a serious bowel ailment that resulted in considerable loss of weight, weakness, and depletion. The condition was never diagnosed by a physician, so I do not know what it would have been called. Through the consecrated work of a practitioner it was completely healed, but great patience and humility had first to enter my thinking. The healing was not instantaneous, but covered a number of months. I felt as though I had been reborn, and know that if it were not for Christian Science I should not be here.

I have had many proofs of God's loving care, and my one desire is to be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist.
