I became interested in Christian Science through a friend some thirty years ago. This friend lent me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. As I read the inspiring words, my consciousness was awakened to a joyous revelation of Truth. Later, I knew that I must practice and prove what I had learned of Truth.

My husband became interested in Science, and our test came when our young son was stricken with infantile paralysis. Our fear, which at first was great, was finally dispelled by statement of truth quietly voiced by a Christian Science practitioner. Soon after that the healing was complete.

During an epidemic of scarlet fever, our children were healed in a few treatments. There was an instance of divine protection for our son and his companions while they were crossing Lake Michigan in a sailboat. Many boats were destroyed, but they came home safely into the harbor.
