All my life I had been religiously inclined, but I never found in the orthodox religion anything that satisfied or brought a deeply religious experience. In my childhood and young womanhood I had heard of Christian Science, and although I knew it promised healing I did not feel that I needed it or wanted it, until after I was married and had failing health, a discordant home, and the care of small children. Then I was willing to investigate this Science.

I have found in Science the only real happiness I have ever known, harmony, abundant health, and all good. There have been many physical healings in our family, including those of influenza, coughts, pneumonia, stomach trouble, longstanding constipation, and measles. Often the children have been completely protected from having contagious diseases during an epidemic. It has been my privilege to witness some very remarkable things that Christian Science has brought about. The healing of physical ills seems to me to be only a small part of this beautiful Christ-healing. To see lives regenerated and moral ills healed is a blessing the value of which is inestimable.

For the sense of security that Christian Science brings and the blessed assurance of God's ever-presence and His guidance in every detail of my life, I am deeply grateful. I am so happy to be able to prove that man reflects substance or supply just as he reflects any other Godlike quality, because man reflects all good as God's image and likeness.
