It is with deepest satisfaction that I express my gratitude to God, to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, and to the dear practitioner who set me on the way of Truth, wherein I received a marvelous healing.

For fourteen years I suffered terribly as a result of digestive trouble, and underwent five operations; finally the intestines became paralyzed for fifteen days, and medicines and injections gave no relief. After I had spent a month without improvement in Caldas de São Pedro, a local spa, I was given up by three doctors; the last doctor I consulted recommended fresh X-ray photographs, with a view to a further operation.

In desperation over my health, and struggling with financial difficulties, I felt tempted to end my life. It was at this point that I heard of the wonderful healings accomplished through Christian Science. Abandoning completely all medical treatment and medicines, in the short space of four months I was completely healed by Christian Science.

Not only was I healed physically, but I have gained peace of mind and greater spiritual understanding, enabling me to face life with increased confidence in God. For all the blessings received I am deeply grateful.—(Mrs.) Maria Moraes Sattin, São Paulo, Brazil.
