The testimonies in the periodicals have so often proved helpful to me that I should like to share a few of my experiences and healings with others, and in this way express in a small degree gratitude and love to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful gift—Christian Science.

One of the first healings I remember, and one that made a lasting impression on me, occurred while I was still in high school. I had a wart on the bottom of my foot. It became so painful that I could not walk. My father, who was not a Christian Scientist, insisted that I see a foot specialist. After an examination the specialist said it would have to be burned out, that six treatments over a period of as many weeks would be needed, and that I must stay off my feet entirely. I decided to take my stand right then for Science. I refused to accept the limiting laws of mortal belief, recognizing my God-given dominion and freedom, and in a few minutes I walked out of the doctor's office. I had received immediate relief from pain. The wart was still there, but I could walk comfortably, and went to school as usual. In a few days, to my amazement, the wart simply fell off my foot, and the sore was healed.

A few years ago, during the birth of our son, I relied on Christian Science for help. The consciousness of the spiritual nature of man, of my oneness with the Father, and Love's ever-presence sustained me, and the faithful work of a practitioner annulled many of the mortal laws connected with this experience.
