With a heart filled with gratitude and with a sincere desire to share some of the many blessings which have come to my family and me through the applied understanding of Christian Science, I send this testimony.

For over twenty years I have been richly inspired and benefited by the testimonies I have read in the periodicals, and I realize it is my privilege and duty to use this means to acknowledge my grateful thanks and to share in this exchange of blessings received. "Freely ye have received, freely give."

When Christian Science was first presented to me, it seemed so logical and practical that I readily accepted it as the truth. Although I had not turned to it for physical healing, I was eager to apply it in the healing of two conditions which seemed very real to me at the time. Constipation, which had troubled me for some time, was healed when I was ready to discard all material remedies; it was completely eliminated from my consciousness. The need for wearing glasses for reading and sewing quickly disappeared. When my eyes seemed tired, instead of resting them I would study Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, and I soon found relief. In a few weeks the condition was entirely healed.
