Out of the gratitude that is in my heart for the proof of God's loving care for His children, I give this testimony. Christian Science has been teaching me through many years a happier and more useful way of living. Its revelations of God's law have brought me health, daily supply, and guidance during the years when the rearing and support of a small son were my responsibility. I am thankful for the teachings he received in the Christian Science Sunday School, for through these years my son and I worked together to solve our financial and home problems.

Not the least of these problems was the question of the boy's future after high school days were over. The solution of this problem showed with such clarity that God's law is present to guard and guide—that there is a right and good place for each of His children—that it is my joy to share it here.

The year before my son graduated from high school, he had part-time employment at a grocery store, with the promise of steady work when school was out. His promised earnings of fifteen dollars a week were to provide a college fund, and we hoped to secure for him a scholarship through a governmental agency. Both of these well-laid plans for his college future failed, thus proving the futility of mere human outlining. The scholarship was refused on the ground that my son's academic record, although brilliant along the line of his particular interest—aeronautics—was inadequate.
