My heart overflows with gratitude for Christian Science and its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy. It is my earnest hope that my testimony may encourage others who may be on the threshold of accepting this new-old way to Truth and happiness.

Christian Science was brought to my attention when I was on the eve of going into hospital for treatment. Instead, I threw away my medicines and took up the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.

How happy I felt that I had at last found something real! There was no need for further medical treatment, and from thenceforth my every need was supplied in orderly fashion, including necessary employment, church membership, and class instruction. I was quickly healed of measles, proving on that occasion that no convalescent period is necessary to such an experience. Mumps disappeared in four days. God's unfailing guidance in business affairs, humbly and obediently accepted, has led me to spiritual riches which continually unfold and promise an ever-widening horizon leading on and up to Him. An exquisite trust in Him, gained by proofs of His care; a sincere desire to serve Him, rewarded by daily increasing activity; a natural expression of undimmed happiness, the fruitage of an early realization that "Love is reflected in love" (Science and Health, p. 17)—these are indeed rich blessings.
